Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waterbury, CT is committed to reaching our community through door-to-door evangelism every Saturday morning, community events throughout the year, Gospel tract distribution, and Vacation Bible School each summer. Everyone is welcome to join our outreach efforts.

Door-to-Door Evangelism
Every Saturday morning, teams go out into our community to share the Gospel and invite people to church. No experience needed—just a willing heart!

Gospel Tract Ministry
We distribute Gospel tracts throughout our community and beyond. These simple tools have been used by God to reach countless souls with the message of salvation.

Vacation Bible School
Each summer, we host VBS for children in our community. It's a week of Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and fun—with the Gospel at the center of everything.

How to Get Involved
You don't need to be a trained evangelist to share the Gospel. God uses willing hearts! Here's how you can be part of our outreach efforts:
- Join a soul-winning team — No experience necessary. We'll train you and pair you with an experienced partner.
- Pray for our outreach — Prayer warriors are essential. Pray for open hearts and Gospel opportunities.
- Volunteer at events — Help with setup, registration, food service, and more at our community events.
- Invite your neighbors — Sometimes the best outreach is simply inviting someone to church!
Outreach FAQ
Do I need experience to go soul winning?
Not at all! We pair new participants with experienced soul winners who will guide you. All you need is a willing heart and a desire to share the Gospel.
What time do the Saturday outreach teams meet?
We meet Saturdays, 10:00 AM at the Church parking lot. Teams head out together from there.
Can my children participate in outreach?
Families are welcome to participate together! Children can help distribute tracts and invite neighbors. VBS is also a wonderful way for kids to be part of our outreach.
How can I help if I can't go door to door?
Prayer is essential! You can also volunteer at community events, help with VBS, distribute tracts at work or school, or simply invite someone to church. Every effort matters.
